Troubleshooting for Cougar Sports Network
In the event the video and audio feed is lagging behind the Live Stats
Since CSN is using merging data from two separate sources, it is possible the video and audio stream can lag behind the Live Stats by several seconds during a webcast, causing the live stats to be 'ahead' of the action on the video screen. To sync the video and audio stream with live stats, simply refresh the page in your browser. There is usually a button toward the top of the browser window, or follow one of these keyboard shortcuts: Firefox (F5 or Cmd+R); Safari (Command-R); Internet Explorer (F5).
In the event you have trouble receiving statistics during a LIVE game, it is beneficial to clear the cache from your browser.
We have seen where the live stats section is blank when tuning into a live webcast. You will have to clear the internet cache of your web browser to resolve this issue.
- For Firefox (Windows) go to Tools -> Clear Private Data -> Cache
- For Firefox (Mac) to to Firefox -> Preferences, and click on the Privacy tab, and select 'Clear Now' and make sure 'Cache' is selected
- For Internet Explorer (Windows) go to Tools > Internet Options -> Choose General Tab -> do both 'Delete Browsing History' and 'Delete Temporary Internet Files'
- For Safari (Mac) go to 'Safari' -> Empty Cache
